*As a new coaching client, we ask that you please review the first item, and then depending on the coaching program you signed up for, click the corresponding toggle to review the important reminders + details about your coaching program.
Our Core Values
- Act from Love and Abundance – Lead with love, respect, and generosity. Embrace an open mindset and uplift others freely, avoiding fear and scarcity.
- Nurture the business; Nurture the entrepreneur – Grow the business, make more money, amplify the impact. Build a life you love and feel proud of.
- Commit Fully, Think Big – Be all in. You’re either in or out (you can’t stand with one foot in two boats). Take ownership, and contribute to the larger vision, knowing that a rising tide lifts all ships.
- Straight talk – Honest and clear communication. No overcomplicating. No BS Be direct and honest. No unnecessary drama.
Our Boundaries (a.k.a. How We Keep Things Smooth + Respectful)
Just like your studio has policies and boundaries for students, we have ours to ensure transparency and a smooth and respectful working relationship:
48-Hour Policy: Coaching calls must be rescheduled or canceled at least 48 hours in advance. Billing updates also require 48 hours’ notice via [this form].
Use It or Lose It: Coaching calls must be used within your billing cycle. No rollovers or post-cancellation redemptions.
Subscription Changes: Submit all changes using the [Membership Change Form].
No Refunds: All payments are non-refundable.
What We Expect From You
These aren’t just tasks—they’re the foundation for real results. They’re also part of what qualifies you for our results-backed guarantee.
We promise: Double your investment or we’ll coach you at no extra cost until you do. That guarantee only applies when you’ve completed 12 full months of active coaching and upheld all the responsibilities below:
Submit Your Quick KPIs: Do the 12-month baseline once, then quick monthly updates after that (we’ll remind you in Slack).
Complete Your Onboarding Steps: All listed below on this page. Knock them out ASAP so we can get to work.
Follow Through on Coaching Action Items: Momentum matters. Keep things moving between calls.
Implement the Plan: Don’t just show up—put things into action.
Communicate Effectively: Use your dedicated Slack channel (no DMs), tag your coach, and stay consistent.
Use the Tools We Give You: Coaching folder, Slack, call links, YC Network, and other resources—we built these to help you succeed.
Trust the Process: This stuff works—if you do the work.
For Studios with Multiple Owners
To keep your coaching progress on track, we have a few must-haves when working with more than one decision-maker:
Appoint a Point Person: One person must be the official decision-maker on coaching calls. This person has full authority to move the strategy forward on behalf of the team.
Avoid Coaching Whiplash: Once a decision is made in a coaching call, it needs to stick. Post-call pushback, changes due to other owners weighing in, or halting implementation breaks momentum—and violates the terms of our guarantee.
Stay Aligned Internally: Any business disagreements must be resolved internally. We don’t revisit strategies because of misalignment on your end.
Keep Communication Streamlined: All coaching communication happens through your designated Point Person. No surprise messages or backdoor instructions—just clarity and respect.
Support the Plan: Everyone on the ownership team must back the decisions made in coaching and help carry them forward.
Client Profile Required: Anyone actively involved in coaching (owners, managers, etc.) must fill this out during Onboarding. It helps us support your unique leadership styles, communication preferences, and goals.
Welcome to All Access Coaching! Please review all the following details:
You have regular recurring calls with your coach → Your coach will reach out to you in Slack to determine a regular recurring schedule (one 1-hour call every week for 3 weeks, then 1 week break for implementation) these calls will be scheduled FOR you by your coach for the year. You will get an email inviting you to these calls where you can add them to your calendar.
Book Extra Calls with your Coach: If at any point you want to schedule in an extra call or two with your coach in addition to your regular scheduled calls – feel free. The booking link is in your Slack channel’s bookmark bar.
Note: Booking these additional calls are YOUR responsibility, and the usual booking/call policies apply.
Welcome to Flex Coaching! Please review all the following details:

faq:
Slack is a communication platform and tool. The best way to describe Slack is if email, social media and messenger had a baby. You can message us/your coach, tag people, leave voice notes, share documents, gifs, links and other important resources that you’ll need and receive during your coaching journey.
Our 3 Rules for Using Slack:
Please review these tips to ensure the most efficient communication and experience.
1️⃣ Tag Your Coach with @ (or anyone on our team you want to connect with) → Be sure to tag your coach whenever you have a direct question to ensure they’re notified of your message or response.
2️⃣ Respecting Response Time → Our team will respond to your messages and questions as soon as we can! Your coach is closely monitoring their client’s channels and will typically respond within 24hrs (mindful of weekends and holidays) and other YC Team Members (when tagged) will respond within 48hrs (again, mindful of weekends and holidays).
3️⃣ No DM’s → Please keep all communications with your coach and other YC Members within your Slack channel. We’re all about transparency here within our team, and we don’t check our DM’s and have notifications turned off for them as well. The best way to connect is IN your Slack channel, and by tagging the person you’re reaching out to. Tagging them ensure’s they’ll get notified of your message and posting in your Slack channel allows all of our team members to be able to answer your questions most effectively and efficiently.
✅ Everything you need for coaching is in your Slack Channel:
- 🔗 All the Links you need are in your Channel. Links needed to book calls (or extra calls with your coach) are always gonna live in the ‘Bookmark’ bar of your Slack Channel
- 🗂️ Your Coaching Folder (Google Drive) → This folder is where all documents and resources will be uploaded and kept safe while coaching with us! Your Google Drive folder is linked in the bookmark bar
- Your coach will post your action items and call recaps in your Slack Channel after each call.
- All communication between you and our team will be here in your Slack Channel. The only emails you’ll receive from our team will be promotional and important billing related communications if we don’t get a response via Slack.
Not to worry, email Mara at team@the-yc.com with the subject line: 🦸🏼♀️ SOS! I can’t get into Slack. And she’ll come to the rescue. Alternatively, book your Onboarding Call with Mara and she’ll help you out via Zoom.

Yes you need it, and you do need to figure it out (luckily, we’re here to help if you’re experiencing any issues getting into your Slack channel)
Slack is a communication platform/app that we’ll use extensively throughout your coaching journey. This is where all communication with your coach and our team will happen. So it’s vital that you’re active and engaged in your Slack channel with our team.
Your coaching calls will be on Zoom, but other than that, all communication will happen in Slack.
Yes and…

📲 Mobile Slack Tutorial *Coming Soon!*
- Slack Basics on Mobile
You can use Slack in 3 ways:
- Desktop App *Recommended* (meaning you download the Slack app to your computer and use it like you’d use any other application you’ve downloaded, like Zoom or Google Chrome)
- Desktop Browser (meaning you use it via the Slack website in Google Chrome or whatever internet browser you prefer (we recommend Google Chrome for the best experience)
- Mobile App (yes, you can use Slack and chat with your coach on the go!) You’ll need to download the Slack app on your mobile device first and login to the Yogapreneur Collective Workspace again, but then it’s basically the same as the desktop version with some slight and condensed versions, just like most mobile apps. We recommend setting up your Slack initially on your computer so you can adjust your settings appropriately and then use the mobile version as a supplemental source of communication with your coach.

Yes, and there are 2 important factors to consider and review the details for below to make using Slack super easy and seamless.
- The email address connected to your existing Slack account
- Are you currently PAYING MONEY (not on a ‘Free Trial’) for Slack with your team?
Your Email Address:
Your email address used in Slack can be used to join and participate in multiple workspaces. Therefore, if your email address that you currently use Slack with is different from the one we have, please let us know ASAP and we can add your ‘Slack email’ to your channel instead. This will allow you to toggle between each Slack workspace you’re part of without having to log in and out every time.
Are you currently PAYING money to use Slack?
If you are actively PAYING a subscription (NOT on a ‘free trial’ of Plus or Business Slack – you’re literally paying money monthly) then you can join us via Slack Connect. This is a PAID feature, and it allows you to have your YC Coaching channel added right into your existing Slack Workspace. That means you won’t need to toggle between the two workspaces ever! *** You will need to let us know that you would like to join the channel via Slack Connect, we will deactivate your account in our workspace and send you a special link to join our channel via Slack Connect.
If you are NOT paying for Slack, please just join our workspace as per the invitation you received via your email to join the Yogapreneur Collective’s Workspace. You will have to toggle between the workspaces you’re part of, but that’s very simple and easy to do — just like you can toggle between your studio and personal Instagram accounts.
Step 6: Join the YC Community + Get Access to Resources
Join the Facebook Group
Our Facebook group is the best place to connect and engage with fellow yogapreneurs. It’s free to join, just a few questions to answer and your request will be approved within 48 hours.
Feel free to invite additional owners (or any friends who are also wellness-based businesses) that will be participating in your coaching to the Facebook Group.
Note: This group is solely for studio owners, and high-level managers of studios.
** You must complete the 3 questions and check the box that you agree to our Group Rules otherwise your request will be automatically declined.
Get Access to exclusive resources
As part of your coaching membership, you get exclusive access to YC Resources—a collection of webinars, courses, and supporting materials designed to enhance your entrepreneurial journey. These resources are hosted on Mighty Networks, a free platform.
How to Access
- Within 48 hours, you’ll receive two email invitations (via the email you signed up with) to join two spaces.
- Check your inbox and accept both invitations to gain access.
- Follow the steps to create a free Mighty Networks account (or log in if you already have one).
- PS -If you were part of our YC Community Network in 2024, you may already have an account—just accept the invitations and log in using your existing account.
Access & Team Members
- Your membership includes one user with access.
- Access remains active as long as your coaching program is active.
- If you’d like to share with your team, you can either:
- Share your login, or
- They can sign up for their own account at $149 per 4 weeks.
- Once you’ve signed in/signed up, you can access the YC Resources here → https://theyogapreneurcollective.com/
- We recommend Bookmarking this in your internet’s Bookmark Bar
Why is this important?
Your coach may reference these resources for additional learning, homework, or supporting materials. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
